Behavioral Health Associate

OverviewBehavioral Health Associates assist social services teams to provide supportive counseling, advocacy, and education to help patients and their families navigate mental illness, access community resources, and manage symptoms to help them remain safely in the community.
This is a junior position that provides direct care as part of a team.

VNS Health Behavioral Health team members provide vital client-centered behavioral health care to New Yorkers most in need, across all stages of life and mental well-being.
We deliver care wherever our clients are, including outpatient clinics, clients' homes, and the community.
Our short- and long-term service models include acute, transitional, and intensive care management programs that impact the most vulnerable populations, from children, to adolescents, to aging adults.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
